This page is dedicated to exposing builders from hell, to try and stop them giving us all a bad name.
The first job that we have had to put right this year was a porch built by a builder (name had to be removed) from Dungeness. He charged the customer £6000 for a porch and abandoned the project once he had received the last £2000 cash payment (leaving no receipts) . After we received the call from the customer, we surveyed the porch and to our horror found that the building had no footing's, there was no vertical damp course closing the cavity, the damp proof membrane in the floor was wrong, the tiles on the roof didn't overlap and the list goes on, I think it will be best to shown the problems in photo's.
The porch had to be demolished and rebuilt
